John and I became friends when we played on the same Babe Ruth team as kids. Our friendship continued in High School playing ball for the tigers. Sadly like in many cases I lost track of him after getting out of the Army, but he was and will always be one of those special people I have known in my life. God bless you John, Polo
John was always the nicest guy. Always in an upbeat mood. Always made us happy to be around. John will be dearly missed by his friends and family. When Judy and I met in '79 we'd often run into John pushing his handtruck full of beer at the local waterhole or the Mom&Pops. That was when Judy thought I knew everyone in Skagit County. So many of us will miss John.
