I think of Heidi every now and then. Really enjoyed her friendship. We used to play guitars together at her house and she was so concerned about the current events in the world at that time. I wish she hadn't died so young and I often wonder how her son is doing. A very special person Heidi was. Roger Small
I came across an old scrapbook I had made of classmates and friends after high school,, and found a picture of Heidi the day she got married at Hillcrest Lodge. I loved Heid's free spirit and always thought she could make a real difference in the world (afterall she is partly the reason us girls got to start wearing pants to school, she wore a sweater so short, said it was her dress and said "Wouldn't it be better if we wore pants!") She was never afraid to just be herself. I think of her sometimes and wish she was still with us. I am glad I had the privlege to know her.
VERY SPECIAL PERSON INDEED. She will no doubt be jjoining big John Shumacher in heaven now as was always mean't to be!! You were always such a great couple! Good luck!!
