Susan was a good friend who I and others dearly miss. She made a difference in the lives of many as she taught voice and piano lesson privately in her home and at Mount Vernon Christian School. Both of my daughters had the privilege of taking lessons from her and they still refer to her as Aunt Susan. For a few years she lead a choir of young people from around the state which was a ministry she really enjoyed. Susan also worked as the director of Child Evangelism Fellowship and directed or assisted with the music in a number of churches. I especially miss the fun and laughter we shared, but I am confident that we will meet again in heaven.
I will never forget when Susan and I ... as single Moms ... rented a mini van, threw the kids in and headed to Disneyland ... just like we had good sense ... we had a GREAT time.
