What a crack up this wing nut was! Del was one of the funniest guys I have ever known and a good buddy. We had a lot of fun times together and lived to tell about them. Maybe it was those little guardian angels following us around that saw us through. I remember a time when we were roommates in a house in Mount Vernon after high school, I came home and Del had pulled the engine out of his little Renault car and was rebuilding it on the dining room table. I never knew what was going to happen with Del but it was usually pretty funny!
